Short handed limit poker strategy

Let’s say you are in the middle of a poker game – the game is limit shorthand. There are some cases you may want to look at in order to better understand what strategies and measures you should think and take.

When you are in pre-flop and you just know you’ve been dealt pocket pair, then you think if your journey is going to be a big one. If you are really in a multi-way path, then pocket pair can only work well if one is less than seven. If you are in a dead position and everyone else just called big blind, then you should be checked only to enter a cheap flop. But if you’re on the button and before you are one and the rise times, then it is best to do is force by re-raising blinds.

When you get on the flop you should do only one reasonable thing: the times, if you match or continue if you hit.

When playing a shorthand game, if you want to bluff on the flop then you might consider bluffing when they are against one or two player's tops. Simply bluffing here, you have nothing, because of the odd flop and the thing is that if some of the players involved are likely to have nothing, so you need to go forward with it, this would work. You have to call and then decide whether to go or not. Analyze the conflict you have to prepare and maintain that they are also bluffing, what are your options for the plot. So if your hand is only low cards, just check or even fold most times because they can have a better kicker.

There are some things you never would have done in shorthand game like going to prepare when you only Ace and there are others who have gone inside pocket pair or maybe a better kicker you could lose.

Always try to play within your cash. These types of games take a long time to really win. Don’t want to risk losing your hand and then have more money to wait for the winning path. Please note that the strategies are easy to use and others will try them. Always pay attention to the other players and try to play well their hands – is a key part of shorthand.
